The Background

Over time, the University had accumulated a large, mixed fleet of printers, copiers, faxes, and MFDs which had been acquired as and when needs arose with no clear print strategy, making it expensive and inefficient with high levels of waste.

Additionally, the University was dissatisfied with the service levels and value-for-money offered by their existing supplier, whose lack of innovation was also limiting the technology available for students and staff.

The Solution

Apogee put together a dedicated team for the University with account managers and auditors who worked with each department to gain an understanding of their individual needs. Managed Print solutions tailored to fit these needs were then formulated.

With optimising the infrastructure and reducing costs being the priorities, Apogee investigated not only the facts around the current equipment, but also physically assessed the environment to gain a thorough understanding of the University’s working practices.
