Apogee Delivers a New level of Print Efficiency for Countrywide Property Services Group

The Background

Countrywide wanted to implement a printing solution which would allow the company to become more efficient, reducing its costs and waste across all sites. With over 1,200 locations across more than 55 brands, this would be a widely spread operation, ranging from large city to rural areas and including business areas that includes: Estate Agency, Lettings, Financial Services, Surveyors, Conveyancing, Land and New Homes, Asset Management, and Property Auctions.

The Solution

Apogee provided the best and most suitable print solution to meet the requirements of Countrywide; This consisted of a mix of the latest HP 50ppm Laserjet MFDs and Samsung 30ppm android devices across the national branch estate, 60 ppm models for key offices as well as A4 45ppm MFD’s and Xerox D125 Production devices for large print request and tasks.

Apogee have introduced and remotely support print management software across all print, with “follow me” print for control of larger print centric buildings, print monitoring across the wider estate for control and reporting with additional software for automated alerts and toner requests. In total, Apogee manage and service 64 million pages per annum for Countrywide.

The Outcome

Within phase one of the project (3 months) we successfully project managed, delivered, installed and activated ‘go live’ 1,050 devices over 1,000 sites nationwide. Phase two consisting of Head office and Key site deployments with "follow me" print and following on from this, the replacement of a further 118 third party devices across the estate to rationalise the supplier base and bring them in-line with the group solution.

This has delivered a number of benefits to Countrywide, which includes reduced costs and waste, consolidated infrastructure, secure printing, and allocated print costs.
